The Egyptian American School has proven to be one of the first institutions which provide a unique educational system that utilizes old experiences, makes the most of the new, and trains the working staff to fulfill the school’s commitments towards the students, parents, and society. This has been achieved by the faithfulness and the great efforts exerted by the working staff (teachers, administration, and aiding services).
The faithfulness and hard work have a great influence on the clear progress, great success, and outstanding results of the educational process. In addition, they influence the students’ characters physically, artistically, and scientifically.
Moreover, the parents’ support and belief in the staff in partnership with their positive cooperation resulted in overcoming the obstacles, managing the difficulties, and moving ahead towards the desired goals.
It is worth mentioning that all the working staff is satisfied with the school’s achievements and, at the same time, they are working on developing student performance, improving the services, evaluating continuously, and revising periodically to overcome any difficulties in order to achieve the school’s vision.
It is also important to praise the heads’ deep view of commitment to the modern norms of all aspects of the educational process. These norms are among the requirements needed to gain the CITA / Advanc-ed accreditation that the school obtained in the academic year 2004 – 2005.Accordingly, the school obtained a ministerial decree stating that the school’s American diploma is equivalent to the Egyptian High School Certificate.
Every year, the number of students who are accepted into universities abroad is growing. Just last year alone we had several students from our graduating class attend universities in the United States, Germany and Canada. Additionally, we had one of our students receive a scholarship to the University at Albany pre-med honors program.
